Therapeutic Play
Therapeutic play is used to help meet the emotional needs of children who have challenges in their lives with past or present. Have a safe space to either talk or explore their feeling through the art of play. This is to offer the child a safe, confidential, and caring environment to create this is to allow the child to play with as few limits as possible but as many as necessary (for safety). This allows healing to occur on many levels following our natural inner trend towards health. Play and creativity operate on impulses from outside our awareness – the unconscious.
