About Me

My name is Jean Langford I am a fully qualified and insured, Life Coach, BACP registered integrative therapist, specialising in Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as a Critical Incident Debriefer.

I offer a confidential and non-judgmental space to talk and offer guidance if needed. Qualified in both psychotherapy and life coaching I can work on an individual basis, tailoring the counselling to suit your needs allowing me to apply the skills and techniques that are most effective for you.

I work towards empowering you to develop the skills and the confidence needed to bring about long-lasting, positive change for better mental wellbeing.  I believe that physical health impacts mental health so I work on solution-focused strategies to get you where you want to be.

I can provide sessions on a one to one basis, or with couples, group workshops, and can also provide corporate training for mental health first aiders.

My expertise is not limited to adults only.  I am trained to work with children and adolescents. I spent 2 years working with Place2Be within schools in the Manchester area and worked with Barnardos as a therapist with children up to 18yrs old with an array of different crisis points.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and abide by the BACP ethical framework for best practice. All work is fully insured.
